Morning Scripture Verse – Revelation Chapter 11

God always wins and the Bible story has an encouraging happy ending. So God in His word, the Bible, the scriptures looks forward to the day where every evil thing is subdued on the earth. At that future time the earth is returned to the original creator and owner, which is God.

Spokane River – the Bible story has an encouraging happy ending

Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. 16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, 17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.  This is a wonderful encouraging Bible verse.

God Sees Tears, Pain and Disappointment

When we or others cry, go through pain or disappointment, we have to remember God is here.  God actually remembers all our tears and pain. Look at the Bible verse in Psalm 56:8 … you(God) know my wanderings: you(God) put my tears into your bottle: are they not in your book?

We may think God is remote or does not care, but He does. At the end of the Bible is a promise in Revelation 21:4  God will wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither will there be any more pain: for the former things are now passed away.    There is also Psalm 34:18 “The Lord God is very close to the brokenhearted and saves everyone who is crushed in spirit.” God is always with us in our pain. Notice, the verse says the Lord is close to the brokenhearted. He is not far away, but right there and with us.

Morning Scripture Verse – Revelation Chapter 8

Revelation chapter 8 talks about the prayers of the saints resulting in the seven trumpets of God’s judgment. In this Bible verse the saints are the Christians and God’s people.  The first four trumpets are covered in this chapter. The key verses are:

The prayers of the saints are offered:  Rev 8:3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

The prayers of the saints are accepted by God:  Rev 8:4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.

The prayers of  God’s people are answered by God:  Rev 8:5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

God Feels Pain, Tears and Disappointment

When we or others go through pain and disappointment, we have to remember God is here.  We may think God is remote or does not care, but He does.  Remember the promise at the end of the Bible – Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And God actually remembers all our pain and tears. Look at Psalm 56:8  … thou know my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

The there is  Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”  God is always with us in our pain. Notice, the verse says the Lord is close to the brokenhearted. He is not far away, but right there.

Morning Scripture Verse – Revelation Chapter 4

The universe, and the angels acknowledge that God created the universe, and so He is worth of all honor.   No one but God can create something out of nothing.  God is eternal.  Here is today’s verse from Revelation chapter 4, verse 11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, since you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created!”

The best man can do is to transform matter into matter or energy, but man cannot create something out of nothing.

Morning Scripture Verse – Revelation Chapter 3

Can you believe that the Lord is outside the church, knocking and trying to get in!  This is the situation in this verse in chapter 3 of Revelation: (Rev 3:20)
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

Sometimes we borrow this verse to talk about how the Lord wants to come into a person’s life and be everything to them. Like be their savior and redeemer. But actually here is a group of people who at one point loved The Lord, but somehow now do not welcome Him. So let us welcome Him into our lives individually and corporately.

What to do with Anxiety

What do we do with anxiety?   Remember my blog on Anxiety Kills Vision.

The best Bible or scripture verse is: 1 Peter 5:6-7.  So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. 7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. Yes, give all the anxieties and worries to God, because He really cares for us.

In the Wuest translation, it says:  having deposited with Him once for all the whole of your worry, because to Him it is a matter of concern respecting you.

Morning Scripture Verse – Revelation Chapter 2

Our uplifting encouraging morning Bible verse is from Revelation Chapter 2.

Rev 2:4   Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. How important to come back to the Lord as our first love. So many other competing things come in life, but we must make the Lord Jesus Christ the number one interest in our life.

Rev 2:28  I will give him the morning star. There is something special about the morning star, the first star we see in the morning when we arise early to spend time with the Lord Jesus Christ.
