Bethlehem Bethlehem, His Name Is Jesus – New Christmas Song

Enjoy this new Christmas song called: Bethlehem Bethlehem, His Name Is Jesus

Bethlehem, a town in ancient Biblical Israel where Jesus was born feels so small, but out of Bethlehem came Jesus the King, the Messiah.  This is based on Micah 5:2 which is a prophecy about the city of Bethlehem. The verse seems to indicate that the city felt too small and unimportant to do anything significant. But from this city came Jesus Christ. Jesus is King and Redeemer. This is the real meaning of Christmas.

Here are the beautiful words:

Title: Bethlehem Bethlehem, His name is Jesus

Bethlehem Bethlehem, I feel you are so small
Yet born in you a King, we call our Emmanuel
He shall be called Jesus, born of a virgin
His name is Jesus, our Savior, our Redeemer

Bethlehem Bethlehem, I feel you are so small
Yet born in you a Ruler, we call our King
He shall be great, He will rule forever
He shall be called the Son of the Highest

(bridge)

Bethlehem Bethlehem, I feel you are so small
Yet born in you Jesus, we call our Messiah
Jesus the Son of God, Jesus the Son of man
His name is Jesus, our Savior, our Redeemer

His name is Jesus
His name is Jesus
Jesus

In The Garden Jesus Prayed | How to Pray | 4k music video

Both a passion week and prayer song called: In The Garden Jesus Prayed.

After being in the upper room with His disciples, Jesus went to a place to pray just before His death and resurrection. It might have been a garden outside Jerusalem Israel where Jesus prayed.

The lyrics written by Drew Haninger are:

In the garden Jesus prayed
In the garden Jesus prayed
Not my will, but thine be done
Not my will, but thine be done

God’s will, not my will
God’s plan, not my plan
In the garden Jesus prayed

In the garden Jesus prayed
Beautiful garden a garden for prayer
Not my will, but thine be done
God’s will, not my will
God’s will, not my will
In the garden Jesus prayed

Jesus died on the cross
Jesus rose from the dead
Jesus gives eternal life
Beautiful garden a garden for prayer
In the garden Jesus prayed

In the garden Jesus prayed
In the garden Jesus prayed
In the garden Jesus prayed

Elijah’s Name – My God is Jehovah

Biblical names are often full of great meaning, and that is definitely true of Elijah’s name.

The Hebrew word for “God” in the Old Testament is Elohim, which is occasionally shortened to EL. Elijah’s name begins with “God”, telling us that he has been marked by God for His purposes.

Elijah’s name ends with “JAH”, a shortened form of the Hebrew word, Jehovah, God’s personal name. Elijah’s name, therefore, includes the word for “God” as well as the word for “Jehovah”. What a great honor to have God’s names as part of one’s own!  Elijah’s name reminds us that he has a special ministry to fulfill for God.

Inserted between those two words, EL and JAH, is the letter “I”, which translates from the Hebrew as “me”, “my” or “mine”, asserting Elijah’s personal relationship with his God.

Putting all this together, then, we find that Elijah’s name means “My God is Jehovah”, “The Lord is my God”, or “Jehovah God is very personal”. You could say the name means: “God is very personal to me”

Elijah’s name had great significance, and was a testimony to who Elijah was, and what he would do for God’s people.

Little Town of Bethlehem

Luke 2:3 And all went to be registered, each to his own town. 4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, 5 to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. 6 And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. 7 And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.

Set the Direction with Morning Prayer

Boat on Sea of Galilee, Israel

Boat on the Sea of Galilee, Israel

A great Bible verse is Mark 1:35, “and  rising in the morning long before day, he went out and went away into a desert place, and there prayed“.  The Lord Jesus spent time in the  morning in prayer to get himself in alignment with God, the Father.  Jesus also prayed that the direction of the whole day would be in the Father’s will, purpose and direction. His morning time set the purpose and direction for the whole day.

From the context of this passage we can discern that Jesus probably prayed in the region of the Sea of Galilee in northern Israel. The above picture was taken from another boat on Sea of Galilee.

How do we know Jesus prayed this way? Jesus taught His disciples to pray, “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven“. This is a portion from the familiar Lord’s Prayer.

Capernaum in Israel

In Capernaum, Israel, Jesus taught about Himself being the bread of life, which was very hard for the disciples to understand.    John 6:47 … I say unto you, He that believeth hath eternal life. 48 I am the bread of life.     John 6:58 This is the bread which came down out of heaven: not as the fathers ate, and died; he that eateth this bread shall live for ever. 59 These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.  John 6:33 For the bread of God is he who comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world. 34 They said therefore to him, Lord, ever give to us this bread

Capernaum and Nazareth in Israel, the places that Jesus went and did many things. The best Bible verse is Matthew 4:12 But having heard that John was delivered up, he departed into Galilee: 13 and having left Nazareth, he went and dwelt at Capernaum, which is on the sea- side in the borders of Zabulon and Nepthalim,

The synagogue was a place that both Jesus and Paul taught in.  Mark 1:21 And they go into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue and taught. 22 And they were astonished at his teaching: For he taught them as having authority, and not as the scribes. 23 And straightway there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,
