Everyone loves a happy ending. The Bible ends in a happy way. Some people jump to the last book of the Bible, the book of Revelation, and read how God finishes the Bible in a happy way. At the end, all evil is conquered. All evil is thrown into the eternal trash can called the lake of fire. Those who follow evil also end up in the trash. God is on the throne in a heavenly city, the New Jerusalem. God’s people, who believe in Jesus, will live with Him in this city for eternity and be a part of the happy ending.

God Feels Pain, Tears and Disappointment
When we or others go through pain and disappointment, we have to remember God is here. We may think God is remote or does not care, but He does. Remember the promise at the end of the Bible – Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
And God actually remembers all our pain and tears. Look at Psalm 56:8 … thou know my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?
The there is Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” God is always with us in our pain. Notice, the verse says the Lord is close to the brokenhearted. He is not far away, but right there.
Prayer that Works
James talks about Elijah, who had learned how to pray “prayer that works“. God answered his prayers. But Elijah had to learn to pray.

The Bible scripture is James 5:16-18
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. 17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

Let us not give up in learning how to pray. Jesus knew how to pray, and so His disciples asked Him how to pray. Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus, Peter, Paul, and the apostle John all learned how to pray.
God Writes History
God writes history. This is a mystery, but time and events are in God’s hand. Man thinks he is in charge, but each person cannot set their birth or death date. God is in control. God is sovereign. He sometimes allows and sometimes prevents. He allows good and He allows evil. He allows life and He allows death. So be a part if God’s history by being on His side and by following Jesus.
Here are some great Bible verses on this topic.
Acts 1:7 And He said to them, “ It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.
Daniel 2:21
And He changes the times and the seasons;
He removes kings and raises up kings;
He gives wisdom to the wise
And knowledge to those who have understanding.
Revelation 1:8
“ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “ who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Morning Scripture Verse – Revelation Chapter 4
The universe, and the angels acknowledge that God created the universe, and so He is worth of all honor. No one but God can create something out of nothing. God is eternal. Here is today’s verse from Revelation chapter 4, verse 11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, since you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created!”
The best man can do is to transform matter into matter or energy, but man cannot create something out of nothing.
Morning Scripture Verse – Revelation Chapter 3
Can you believe that the Lord is outside the church, knocking and trying to get in! This is the situation in this verse in chapter 3 of Revelation: (Rev 3:20)
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
Sometimes we borrow this verse to talk about how the Lord wants to come into a person’s life and be everything to them. Like be their savior and redeemer. But actually here is a group of people who at one point loved The Lord, but somehow now do not welcome Him. So let us welcome Him into our lives individually and corporately.

Elijah Prayed Earnestly – Bible Prayers
Bible Prayers are prayers where the prayer words are in the Bible. There are many prayers where the words of the prayer are right in the Bible.
Sometime we don’t know what the words are, like when Jesus prayed all night. We don’t know what He prayed, we just know the outcome the next day where He choose the twelve apostles. There is a few Bible verses that are teachings on prayer, like the Lord’s Prayer.
I just love this Bible verse on prayer: Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. — James 5:17
Psalm 22:19 But thou, Jehovah, be not far from me; O my strength, haste thee to help me.
Consider the verse in John 15:7 where the Lord Jesus says “If you abide in me and my words abide in you, ask what ever you wish and it shall be done.” A big part of prayer is our mind being filled with the Words of the Bible. The more our mind is renewed with God’s Word the more prayers get answered. His word in our thinking causes us to pray closer to His will.
Happy Ending
The Bible ends in a happy way.
Everyone loves a story with a happy ending. Some people even cheat and just read the last chapter. Well, in God’s story that He is writing, God finishes in a very positive way. His story includes the history of humanity, the earth, and the rest of the universe.
So jump to the last book of the Bible, the book of Revelation, and see how God finishes in a happy way. At the end, all evil is conquered, all evil is thrown into the eternal trash can called the Lake of fire. Unfortunately, those that follow evil also end up in the trash can. God is on the throne. There is a heavenly wonderful city called the New Jerusalem, and God’s people live with God in this city for eternity. So it is important to believe in Jesus to be a part of the happy ending.
